At 2012 meters above sea level, at the heart of the Ötztal Alps, you will find our Hühnersteign – a perfect refreshment stop right on the glacier road. Our rustic mountain hut with typical Tirolean atmosphere and authentic flair promises enough space for moments of pleasure in an excellent mood creating special memories.
Both indoors and outdoors, we warmly welcome you to Annemarie’s Hühnersteign high above Sölden. In summer we make a perfect destination for everyone who wants to take a rest and relax after a hiking or biking tour. In winter, we offer the ideal stop-off point thanks to our prime location right on the ski slope and the glacier road - simply warm up, restore energy and get together. From February onwards, we will also be happy to welcome you to our spacious sun terrace with superb mountain views, serving fine treats from kitchen and cellar. In addition to genuine hospitality, this is another reason why some prefer to visit us every day!
Besides traditional delicacies and fine Tirolean cuisine, we offer the perfect setting for special occasions and celebrations for up to 120 people - tailored to you and your wishes, all year round. Jovial hut atmosphere und great fun guaranteed!

Summer Time
Stop by, feel at ease and enjoy. There is hardly anything more beautiful than summer in the Ötztal Alps. We serve our hearty Hühnersteign delicacies, fine Tirolean cuisine, Austrian classics, a hearty "Marend” snack, crisp salads and sweet desserts to match the unique mountain panorama and natural backdrop. Inside with a rustic flair and outside with the warming sun on your face!
Winter Time
Get on the boards, enjoy superb powder snow and afterwards or in between, head for the Hühnersteign - this is the perfect winter day in Sölden. Warm up with a cup of spicy mulled wine or enjoy a hearty “Marend” snack before heading back to the slopes after a schnapps! Or you just stay ... because there are more than enough reasons for that.
